At an age when many students are still exploring their interests, Muhammad Bintang Prabu Adinata has already represented Indonesia at international diplomatic forums, developed a passion for coding, and explored emerging technologies with remarkable enthusiasm. For Bintang, however, these are not separate pursuits—they are all connected by one simple belief: learning is the best way to create a positive impact on others.
On July 19, 2026, Bintang will begin a new chapter as a student at Thursina International Islamic Boarding School (IIBS). He joins the Thursina community not only with an impressive list of achievements, but also with a clear vision of becoming a young Indonesian who can make meaningfully contributions on the global stage.
Bintang has built a diverse portfolio that reflects his interests in the arts, information technology, and public speaking. He has continuously developed his skills in coding, problem-solving, and communication—competencies he believes will be essential for addressing the challenges of the future. Yet among all his interests, diplomacy has become his greatest passion.
From an early age, Bintang has actively participated in Model United Nations (MUN) conferences, where students from around the world simulate United Nations sessions to discuss global issues. These conferences require participants to do far more than communicate fluently in English. Delegates are expected to think critically, negotiate effectively, propose practical solutions, and confidently present their ideas before an international audience.
One of Bintang's notable achievements was being selected as a Delegate of the UNESCO Junior Council at the Asia Youth International Model United Nations (AYIMUN) 2026 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. During the event, he also received the Best Dress Award for proudly wearing the traditional attire of the Dayak Kenyah people from East Kalimantan, using the opportunity to introduce Indonesia's rich cultural heritage to an international audience.
For Bintang, international conferences are about far more than competition. They have taught him that diplomacy is not solely about politics—it is about building bridges between cultures, fostering friendships, celebrating diversity, and working together to address global challenges.
His most recent accomplishment has become one of the highlights of his journey so far. Bintang was selected to participate in the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod 2026 in Wrexham, Wales, United Kingdom—one of the world's most prestigious international arts and cultural festivals. Established in 1947, the festival brings together performers from across the globe through music, dance, and cultural performances, promoting peace, goodwill, and international friendship through the performing arts.
What made the experience even more meaningful was that Bintang served as the only Indonesian representative within his delegation, carrying the mission of introducing Indonesian culture to the international community. Before departing, the delegation was officially received by Indonesia's Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education, recognizing and supporting their role in promoting Indonesia through cultural diplomacy.
The experience further strengthened Bintang's belief that Indonesian youth have the ability to stand alongside talented young people from around the world.
While actively involved in international forums, Bintang has never lost his enthusiasm for technology. He has participated in several academic enrichment programs in Japan, including workshops on Quantum Computing, Coding, and Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, organized through Schoters in collaboration with leading institutions such as The Institute of Science Tokyo and The University of Tokyo.
He believes that technology and diplomacy will become increasingly interconnected in the future. Skills in data analysis, artificial intelligence, and programming, he says, will play an essential role in solving complex global challenges. For that reason, he is committed to developing both fields side by side.
Bintang's next journey officially begins with his enrollment at Thursina IIBS for the 2026/2027 Academic Year. With its integrated approach to Islamic values, internationally oriented academics, foreign language development, leadership education, research opportunities, and global partnerships, Thursina provides an environment where he can continue to refine his talents and pursue his aspirations.
Through his international experiences, passion for technology, and determination to represent Indonesia with pride, Bintang embodies a new generation of young Indonesians who aspire not only to achieve personal success but also to make meaningful contributions to the wider world.
Because, ultimately, education is about more than excelling in the classroom. It is about preparing young people to step confidently onto the global stage—equipped with knowledge, strong character, and a deep sense of pride in representing Indonesia wherever they go. (lil)
