Thursina Students Secure National Victory in Robotics

Reaffirming its position at the pinnacle of technical excellence—underpinned by a profound cross-cultural mindset—Thursina International Islamic Boarding School (IIBS) has once again demonstrated its distinction. In the prestigious 14th Fun and Challenge (FNC) Robotic & Coding Competition 2026, our 7th-grade students showcased their proficiency, gaining a prestigious national award in a display of logical acumen and international-standard capability.

Curated by the National Achievement Center (PUSPRESNAS), the symposium brings together the national most promising talents under the noble theme "Inclusive Futures: Robots For All." For Thursina, this competition is not merely a technical test; it is a vital component of Santri's journey to become a global citizen with refined intercultural awareness.

The delegation from Thursina IIBS showed extraordinary composure and a sharp competitive edge in the Soccer Robotic 500-gram category. We are proud to announce the following prestigious achievements: 3rd Place: Awarded to the duo Abiyyu Malirazqa Priwanza and Mohammad Fadhli Irsyad; 3rd Runner-up: Awarded to Arkharega Aqeel Rafiandra and Muhammad Randy Andruri Razbie.

It reflects the excellence inherent in the Thursina curriculum, carefully balancing traditional values with a global network of modern technological innovation.

Arkharega Aqeel Rafiandra, a santri with achievements since his primary school, shares his perspective on the rigorous discipline required for such a high level of cultural immersion.

"Our preparation was intense and disciplined. During the final week, we dedicated ourselves fully, refining algorithms from dawn until the time of afternoon prayer," said the student from Solo, whose past achievements include a champion at the 2025 National Olimawisa Festival.

Despite the high demand of the competition, Arkharega maintained an attitude of noblesse oblige, expressing gratitude and ambition to face the upcoming international-standard competition in June held in Yogyakarta.

The success at FNC 2026 is tangible proof that Thursina IIBS students are prepared for the global stage. By fostering a rich international exposure and a cross-cultural mindset, the institution ensures that every graduate is not only a scholar of faith but also a visionary leader equipped with the global network required to navigate the complexities of the future.

By the consistent guidance and a commitment to develop an internationally minded outlook, Thursina IIBS remains the premier choice for families who value a legacy of prestige, intellect, and global character. (iz/lil)
