M. Maghrifat, an eighth-grade student at Thursina International Islamic Boarding School (IIBS), has added another remarkable achievement to his record by winning a Bronze Medal at the national-level Next Champions Indonesia competition. This accomplishment was not achieved by chance, but through consistent talent development and continuous exposure to a learning environment that encourages students to pursue excellence.
For a global citizen, competition is more than a test of knowledge; it is also an opportunity to broaden perspectives and learn from others. Maghrifat underwent three months of intensive training, demonstrating a high level of discipline and commitment throughout the process. Amid the dynamics of boarding school life at Ibnu Mas’ud 2, he successfully maintained the focus and consistency needed to achieve his goal.
This achievement adds to his impressive academic record. Having previously won first place in a national-level Olympiad in 2024, Maghrifat continues to demonstrate a growth mindset and a strong willingness to keep learning and improving. These qualities will serve as valuable foundations as he builds his academic and global connections in the future.
Ustaz Prasetyono Herdianto, S.Pd., Maghrifat’s Academic Advisor and Team Leader for Learning Express with Singapore Polytechnic and Kanazawa Institute of Technology, highlighted the importance of intercultural awareness and self-management in preparing students for success in an international environment.
