A total of 653 of ninth- and twelfth-grade students at Thursina International Islamic Boarding School (IIBS) participated in the 2026 Walk of Honor procession on Tuesday, 16 of June. The solemn event, held at the Twin Square Male Campus, was part of the Meeting of Honor (Judisium and Haflah Akhirussanah). The event marked the end of the studies and the beginning of the new journey as Thursina IIBS alumni.

This year, 344 male and 309 female students attended the graduation ceremony. A dignified and proud atmosphere enveloped the event, which was attended by the leaders, management, teachers, and all students in grades 7, 8, 10, and 11 who came to pay their respects to their seniors.

The atmosphere grew even more lively as hundreds of junior students formed a long line, a parade of honor. Accompanied by thunderous applause and proud gazes, they greeted the graduates as they gracefully marched along the Walk of Honor.

The 2026 Walk of Honor is not just an ordinary graduation ceremony. It is a momentum for reflection on the long process of character building that they have gone through. Over the years, they have been forged through a holistic education system, integrating academics, Islamic boarding school, leadership, language, and character development according to the vision of Thursina IIBS.

The Chief of Education of Thursina IIBS, Ustaz Muhammad Rajab, M.Pd.I., said that the graduation is an official recognition of the students' success in completing the school and Islamic boarding school curriculum.

"Walk of Honor is an appreciation for the long journey in studying and building character. We hope that all graduates continue to maintain enthusiasm for learning, noble morals, and Thursina values wherever they are," said Ustaz Rajab.

On the same occasion, the CEO of Thursina IIBS, Ustaz Nur Abidin, M.Ed., Ed.D., delivered a core message to the graduates to always hold the noble values of the boarding school as a compass for life in the future.

"Wherever you go, always remember the principles of Holistic and Balanced Education and the RECODING values that have become part of your identity. Be a person of integrity, trustworthy, and capable of bringing benefit to the community," said Ustaz Abidin.

He added that true success is not measured solely by personal achievements, but by how much contribution one makes to society and civilization.

In addition to celebrating graduation, the parade is designed to encourage junior students to follow in the steps of their seniors' achievements and accomplishments. By tradition, Thursina IIBS is committed to cultivate the next generation with a spirit of learning, strong character, and a global vision.

With the end of the 2026 Walk of Honor, 653 students have officially held the status of Thursina IIBS alumni. They are now ready to step out into the wide world as a representation of the profile of Thursina graduates who are morally excellent, internationally minded, and inspiring leaders to become "honey of civilization" who are ready to bring benefits to the nation, people and the world.
