After more than a decade of service at Thursina IIBS, four senior staff members received the Most Dedicated Employee Award as part of this year’s Thursina Excellence Award program. The recognition was given to individuals who have consistently carried out their responsibilities, contributed across different roles, and grown together with the institution over many years.
The four awardees are Ustaz A. Ali Syihabuddin, S.Si., M.Pd., Chief of Management of Information Technology (MIT); Ustaz Ahmad Fahdi, M.Pd., Principal of Pesantren at the Male Campus; Ustaz Ahmad Mubarok, S.Pd.I., VP of Takmirul Masjid; and Ustaz Muliadi from the Cleaning Service team. As a form of appreciation for their dedication, all four were given the opportunity to perform Umrah.
According to Chief of Human Capital Management (HCM) at Thursina IIBS, Ustazah Dian Asmi Setoningsih, M.Pd., the award was not based simply on position or the scale of someone’s responsibilities. Dedication, she explained, is often seen in the consistency of carrying a responsibility over a long period of time.
“We want to make sure that every contribution is valued. They come from different roles, but for more than ten years, they have all grown together with Thursina, carried their responsibilities with trust, and given their best energy to the institution’s journey,” said Ustazah Dian.
For Thursina, the journey to the Holy Land is more than simply a reward for years of service. It is a way of expressing gratitude for thousands of days of dedication that cannot always be measured through performance indicators: the time they have given, the problems they have helped solve, and their willingness to be present whenever the institution needed them.
“We want this appreciation to carry a more personal meaning. Not only as professional recognition, but also as a spiritual experience that we hope will bring happiness and blessings to them and their families,” the Chief of HCM added.
Through the Thursina Excellence Award, the institution aims to build a work culture that does not only demand performance, but also recognises the people behind every achievement. The annual award serves as a way to ensure that commitment, loyalty, and long-term contribution do not pass without recognition.
This spirit reflects the Care value within Thursina IIBS’s RECODING Values. Care is not only shown toward students, but also toward the staff members who have spent years helping build Thursina’s educational ecosystem from different areas of service.
In the end, an institution does not grow only because of the people who stand at the front. It also continues because of those who faithfully serve in their own roles—and keep choosing to give their best, year after year.
