As part of its ongoing commitment to strengthening and expanding its alumni community, Thursina International Islamic Boarding School (IIBS) successfully hosted the Future Alumni Summit 2026. Held at the Hall Harvard of Thursina IIBS, the event brought together alumni from different generations to strengthen collaboration and connections through the Thursina Global Alumni Network (T-GAN).
The event was officially opened by the Chief Secretariat Officer of Thursina IIBS, Ust. Mohkamat Taufik, M.Ed. In his opening remarks, he emphasized that alumni are more than simply part of the school’s graduation statistics. They are living representatives of the institution’s values and reputation, carrying the responsibility of becoming individuals with a strong cross-cultural mindset and integrity as they contribute to the global community.

Pendampingan ini tidak terbatas pada masa studi di asrama, melainkan membentang sepanjang perjalanan akademik di universitas terkemuka dunia, pengembangan karier kelas dunia, hingga kontribusi nyata mereka di masyarakat global. Komitmen jangka panjang ini secara elegan diartikulasikan melalui pemaparan program Alumni Relation and Development oleh tim T-GAN.
Manager of Alumni Relation & Development Thursina IIBS, Ustaz Robby Amrullah Q. M., M.Pd., menekankan esensi penting di balik inisiasi jaringan eksklusif ini. "T-GAN dikurasi bukan sekadar sebagai wadah formalitas untuk berkumpul, melainkan sebuah lifelong sanctuary di mana para alumni dapat menanam investasi sosial, mempererat global network, dan saling mendukung dalam transisi menuju kepemimpinan global,” jelas Ustadz Robby.
Thursina IIBS continues to reaffirm its commitment to supporting its alumni throughout their journeys beyond graduation. This support extends beyond their time at the boarding school, accompanying them as they pursue higher education at leading universities, develop their careers, and contribute to society. This long-term commitment was highlighted through a presentation of the Alumni Relations and Development Program by the T-GAN team.
Manager of Alumni Relations & Development at Thursina IIBS, Ustaz Robby Amrullah Q. M., M.Pd., explained the purpose behind establishing the alumni network.
“T-GAN is not simply a formal platform for alumni to stay connected. It is a lifelong community where alumni can build meaningful relationships, expand their networks, and support one another as they move toward greater leadership and professional opportunities,” said Ustaz Robby.
He further emphasized the importance of maintaining a strong sense of belonging among alumni.
“We envision T-GAN as a shared home that always welcomes our young alumni. It is a space where meaningful collaboration can grow and continue over time,” he explained.
Through a personal yet professional approach, Ustaz Robby also highlighted the practical aspects of Thursina’s long-term commitment to its alumni.
“Thursina is committed to providing a strong support system, from research opportunities to spaces for community service, so that our alumni can continue to expand their positive impact both nationally and internationally,” he said.
He also explained that the intergenerational network is designed to facilitate the exchange of experiences, particularly in navigating international opportunities. By creating opportunities for senior alumni to share their experiences and insights on global academic and career pathways, younger alumni can gain greater confidence and develop stronger intercultural awareness as they enter multicultural environments.
The summit featured a diverse range of programs, including Alumni Mengajar, Alumni Berbagi, Inspiring Talkshow, Alumni Award, and Academic & Career Coaching sessions.
The Alumni Award 2026 was presented to several inspiring young alumni whose achievements reflect excellence in different areas. The recipients included Mohamad Bintang Akbar Hatta (Academic Excellence), Ghania Fazila Hadi (Holistic Category), Alfayer Farozi Suhandri (Early Career Achievement), Naela Najwadea Fyananda (Social Impact), and Satria Dzakhwan Baidowi (Environmental Impact).
During the Inspiring Talkshow, the award recipients shared reflections on the importance of cultural immersion, adaptability, and staying true to one’s values and identity as a Muslim while navigating diverse environments.
The session was complemented by an interactive Coaching Clinic covering four strategic areas, including international academic guidance, professional career development, and pathways for public service and national defense careers.
Through the Future Alumni Summit 2026, Thursina IIBS hopes to strengthen connections among alumni while fostering a culture of mutual support and inspiration across generations. The event reaffirmed that the Thursina journey does not end at graduation. Instead, it continues through a growing network of alumni who contribute, collaborate, and create positive impact at both the national and international levels. (iz/lil)
